This video for ‘Is It A Crime’ originally released January 1986 directed by Brian Ward is one of Sade’s best. The song is originally from the “Promise” album and is one of my favorites as well. I’ll spare you the “Got damn! This kills everything your going to hear on the radio this month” speech.
Just remember some things you can’t take back.
this video is so cinematic. it definitely has more of a european feel to it than so many others of the time. the scene at the bar was a bit much for me.
the images made me want to read the lyrics…wow….
i remember seeing this when i was younger, but clearly life’s lens makes the song mean different things now than it did then…
